Records Research Desk is a service of Washington Investment Group. These Terms govern your use of our website and any services we provide.

What we do

Records Research Desk provides estate and genealogy records‐research services. Our work includes:

• Researching public records (deeds, probate filings, obituaries, court records)
• Tracing family lines and identifying potential heirs
• Reaching out to family members or property owners when records research requires it
• Responding to inquiries from family members, attorneys, title researchers, and others

We are not attorneys, financial advisors, or licensed real estate professionals, and nothing on this site or in our communications constitutes legal, tax, financial, or real estate advice. For advice in any of those areas, please consult an appropriate licensed professional.

Contacting you

If our records research indicates you may have a connection to a property or person we're researching, we may contact you by mail, phone, email, or text message. You can ask us to stop contacting you at any time:

• For text messages, reply STOP.
• For all channels, email alexlovesresearch@gmail.com and we'll close the file.

SMS terms

If you provide a phone number and opt in to receive text messages from us, you agree to receive recurring SMS messages from Records Research Desk related to your inquiry or our research. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time. Reply HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the site or our services. Specifically, you will not:

• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information through our form
• Use the site to harass, abuse, or harm another person
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the site or our systems
• Use automated tools to scrape, harvest, or otherwise collect information from the site
